Due to the possible threat to public health from the COVID-19 virus, a decision has been made to cancel the 2020 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Greystones. Greystones Municipal District regrets any inconvenience caused.
This year’s Greystones St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be bigger and better than previous years with your help and continued support.
- Time: 12.00 noon – Groups should gather at 11.30 a.m
- Location: Commences Park & Ride car park
- Route: South Beach – Church Road – Old Cinema
- Reviewing stand: Church of Ireland, Church Road
Greystones Municipal District organises a St. Patrick’s Day Parade each year, and all local businesses, organisations and clubs are invited to participate. Download the application form here. Please return to the Greystones Municipal District, Mill Road, Greystones by Friday 21st February 2020. Clubs/Organisations – €20 Commercial – €40 (Cheques should be made payable to Wicklow County Council).

St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Window Display Competition
On behalf of the Greystones Municipal District, we are again organising a Window Display Competition this year in conjunction with the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and it is hoped that all traders in the town will participate and decorate their shop windows for our national day.
There is no fee or entry form required for the competition. Traders who decorate their windows will be automatically included in the competition and an independent body of people will judge the windows. Your participation will lend a festive air to the town and give visitors an opportunity to stop and admire. The Window Display Competition always generates good publicity for those who take part.
The results of the competition will be announced when the winners of the various categories in the parade are published. We look forward to your participation in the competition and wish you every success.
