The Greystones Town Team –  2020 Vision for Greystones

Greystones 2020 is a registered not for profit (non-political) umbrella organisation whose members work together to co-ordinate and enable activities.

Set up in 2017, following the closure of the Greystones Chamber some years previously,  Greystones 2020 is a voluntary group representative of the business, arts, leisure & voluntary sector. Greystones 2020 is a co-ordinated platform to support opportunities for social, cultural and economical development, inspired by a desire to:

  • Improve Pride of Place for all
  • Realise a common vision for our town – Greystones as the community would wish it to be
  • Help us help ourselves and promote a can-do culture.

We facilitate events, such as the Christmas Lights.  Encourage Greystones to be an holistic town.  We support the improvement of amenities by working with groups such as the tidy towns.  We partner with public sector agencies, such as Wicklow County Council to facilitate projects – e.g. a new public realm plan for the town. We assist in the marketing and promotion of the town such as the development of this website
