Enterprise Support Grant for businesses impacted by COVID-19

The Enterprise Support Grant will shortly be available to assist eligible self-employed recipients who are closing the COVID-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment scheme after 25th June 2020.  This will provide business owners with a once-off grant of up to €1,000 to re-start their business.

Illness Benefit for COVID-19 absences

When a worker is told to self-isolate by a doctor or the HSE due to being a possible source of infection or has been diagnosed with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) by a doctor, they can apply for an enhanced Illness Benefit payment of €350 per week.

Temporary COVID-19 Wage Subsidy Scheme

The COVID-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment is available to employees and the self-employed who have lost their job on (or after) March 13 due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.

Jobs Plus Scheme

JobsPlus is an employer incentive which encourages and rewards employers who employ jobseekers on the Live Register. Employers are paid an incentive monthly in arrears over a 2-year period. It provides 2 levels of regular cash payments, €7,500 and €10,000 respectively.
