Failte Ireland Covid-19 Adaptation Fund

The €26m COVID-19 Adaptation Fund for tourism and hospitality businesses was announced as part of the July stimulus package. This Fund will help offset the costs incurred as they adapt their businesses before re-opening. Full details will be available here on Tuesday 18 August at 2pm when the Fund opens for applications.  Launching on the 18th August

Return to work safely Guidelines

The attached Return to Work Safely Protocol, is the result of a collaborative effort by the
Health and Safety Authority (HSA), the Health Services Executive (HSE) and the Department
of Health. It is designed to support employers and workers to put measures in place that will

This non-exhaustive document describes the steps that Hair salons and Barber shops should take

Government to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in the community.

Guidelines for Legal Companies returning to work

The Support Services team in the Law Society has produced a Guideline for Legal Firms on Returning to Onsite Working. The guide is based on the Roadmap for Reopening Society and Business recently issued by the Irish Government.

€1 Million Direct Mail Grant

An Post is offering access to a Direct Mail Grant by way of a rebate of up to a maximum of €1,000 in connection with purchase of the An Post service. The first 1000 applicants can avail of this offer by entering the promo code OPENFORBUSINESS at the checkout.

Allocations will be made strictly on a first come, first serve basis.  An Post may, at its discretion, extend the offer to more than 1000 businesses if it deems appropriate but subject always to the maximum aggregate value of this offer not exceeding €1 million.

Skillnet Rebound Initiative

Skillnet Ireland has  launched a new initiative aimed at helping Irish SME owners and managers across all sectors prepare and implement a return to work safely plan for the reopening of their business. The initiative known as ‘ReBound – Back to Business. Safely’ is being offered in conjunction with industry and Government partners.
